From Forests in a Bottle to paper snails\, seed shares\, and fairy houses – tap into your creative side and make something memorable. This event is family-friendly\, and crafts are geared toward kids who can independently use scissors\, glue sticks\, and basic school supplies or with parental assistance. All crafts vary in presentation. Adult supervision at all times is required. Craft supplies\, tools\, and guidance are included with museum admission and do not require pre-registration.

SUMMARY:Eeeny Meeny Mighty Towhees Birdathon Team Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Join local author Seymore Gulls and Bird Alliance of Oregon staff member Kady Davis on a very short and family-friendly walk in the urban oasis that is Whitaker Ponds as a part of Birdathon\, one of our most beloved traditions\, bringing people together to raise funds to protect birds while watching birds. We will take a break to sit and read Families of a Feather by local author Fern Wexler. The kids will be free to run around while we introduce birding as well as identify and count species we see! \n  \nFundraise as an individual or as a whole family\, and join us to support Bird Alliance of Oregon which serves more than 6\,000 youth in our community each year through their Education Program. \nKid-friendly binoculars will be available. We may see purple martins on the outing\, as well as evidence of beavers! \nMinimum fundraising of $50 per family is requested. \nRegister Now! \nFor more information about Birdathon\, click here.
