DESCRIPTION:Bird Alliance of Oregon + Feminist Bird Club PDX present – \nSUNDAYS: Accessible Bird Song Outing at Whitaker Ponds w/ FBC.PDX\n\nThis event is reserved for people who identify as BIPOC\, queer\, and or disabled.\nJoin Rey Snyder and a host of friends from the FBC.PDX for a movement-oriented morning. We will spend our time enjoying all the birds around us and learn how to identify them by the sounds they make. The needs of the group + the presence of the birds will determine our pace. \nAccessible Bird Song Outing at Whitaker Ponds w/ FBC.PDX outings are held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. RSVP below! These outings begin on April 6 and end April 27.\nThis outing is limited to 12 people. \nRSVP! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccessibility\nDistance: up to 1 mile\nTrail Tread & Width: Mostly Gravel road; some single track packed dirt (can be very muddy)\nElevation Changes: up to 10 ft.\nPacing: Slow w/ frequent stops.\nAmenities: Single user Porta Potty. Parking lot on site.\nPublic Transit:TriMet bus #75 makes a stop at the corner of NE 47th Avenue and Columbia Blvd and visitors can walk north from there to the park entrance.\nMeeting Location: Whitaker Ponds Nature Park. Under the gazebo.
