DESCRIPTION:Participants will help map the various species of lichen at Smith and Bybee Wetlands in a “bioblitz” using the mobile app iNaturalist. Participants should have the iNaturalist app loaded on their phone or mobile device before attending. \n  \nFree.Parking: free \nAll ages \nDifficulty: easy \nAdvanced registration is required. No walk-ins please.\nClick the blue “register” button to enter our registration portal. You will need to create a customer account first to register. \nPet policy: To protect plants\, wildlife and people\, Metro does not allow pets at most regional parks and natural areas. Pets can damage sensitive habitat and threaten wildlife the region has worked to protect. In natural areas where dogs are not allowed\, people see more wildlife and get closer to it. Seeing-eye dogs or other service animals are allowed.
